History

Established in 1986, Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro has steadily
built a reputation as one of "the spots" for fine dining in the
Dayton, Ohio area. Nestled in the heart of old downtown of
Ohio's "Star City" (Miamisburg), Bullwinkle's offers casual
dining in a warm and friendly atmosphere and serves some
of the best steaks, chicken and seafood around . . .
not to mention our ribs!

While visiting Bullwinkle's, you can observe glimpses into the
city's past. The railroad, which still runs regular freight traffic,
and the Miami-Erie canal which ran just across the street from
Bullwinkle's, established Miamisburg as a significant point of
trade and commerce. This contributed to the city becoming a
hub of activity from the late 1800s, on through the mid 1900s
and beyond. Local state routes continue to offer a stopping
point for travelers going from Cincinnati to Dayton today,
just as they did a hundred years ago!

The downtown area still is home to many quaint, historical
shops along with other unique places to visit or just hang out.
It is this rich history and the scenic location that adds to
